Wayne commenced a career in the early 70’s becoming a member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Stockbroking in October 1976 and remained in that industry eventually listing his company at the turn of the millennial. Shortly after listing Wayne was appointed CEO of the Appleton Group which was then sold to what is today The PSG Group. Wayne remains a qualifying and active Member of the SAIS (South African Institute of Stockbrokers)

Wayne has acted as both CEO and Chairman of a number of publicly listed JSE companies and has served on the board of various licensed FSB financial services/businesses.

In addition, he acts in various fiduciary roles including as an independent protector on a number of international investment trusts.

Wayne is currently the CEO of a licensed asset management company trading as Interactive Portfolios (Pty) Ltd.

He also sits on the boards of a number of private equity investment companies operating in the following industries.
